National Cupcake Week!
It’s national cupcake week! So you know what that means…lots of baking!
We loveee eating-oops I mean baking wonderful treats and nothing tastes better than homemade goodies.
Whether you’re a baking expert or have zero experience in the kitchen, try this super easy cupcake recipe that takes no longer than 10 minutes to prepare!
Here is what you’ll need:
- 110g plain flour
- 110g butter
- 110g caster sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1tsp vanilla extract
You’re just a few steps away from having delicious cupcakes:
- Preheat the oven to 180c/350f/Gas mark 4.
- In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until it is fluffy.
- Sift the baking powder, salt and flour in the bowl.
- Beat the vanilla and eggs together and add to the bowl.
- Use a spoon to transfer the mixture into paper cases.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, allow the mixture to rise and turn golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool on a cooling rack.
