Nothing says I love you like a bit of DIY…
It’s February, as you probably already know, which means we are bombarded with hearts and flowers until Valentine’s Day. If you haven’t sorted out your present already for your other half, then this is a clear sign for you to do so!
Lucky for you last minute folks we are on hand to help as always.
To really show your partner you care about them why not pull out a bit of creativity from inside you and create something yourself? Here are our top DIY tips for Valentine’s Day:
1. Lyrics in a frame
If your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband or wife is a lover of music then why not print out or better yet hand write their favourite song. You don’t have to use just their favourite song, you could use a song that means something to both of you, for example one that was played the first time you saw each other? Whatever song you choose I’m sure it will be good!
Next you will need a picture frame, from fancy to a simple design, any are ideal for this gift.

2. Breakfast in bed
It’s everyone’s dream to have breakfast in bed every day, make this into a reality and cook up a simple breakfast for your loved one.
We suggest cooking up some easy peasy pancakes!
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 eggs
100g plain flour
300ml milk
All you have to do is put the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until the batter is smooth. As an option you can leave this so set for 30 mins or you can cook straight away! Either way they still are tasty 🙂
Put a little bit of oil or butter in a pan and pour a little bit of the mixture onto it. Cook your pancakes on each side for 1 min until golden brown.
Now the fun part! You can decorate your pancakes with all sorts of creative designs. You can sprinkle some sugar on top along with some golden syrup or you can go all out and top it off with cream, strawberries and anything else you can think of that tastes good!
